So the only reason to ask someone to formal is to fuck them?! Maybe be upfront about it but I don’t think saying yes to formal is also saying yes to sex. The only consent to sex is saying yes to sex.
Every major is different at every college. Just because one sociology class at one school was easy doesn’t mean every sociology class at every school is like that.
Why not just ban parties at all houses? I’m sure these things happen at all big parties and events – it’s just easier to target greek life. Look at the st frattys day incident at cal poly slo, it wasn’t even hosted by fraternities but they still got blamed.
I know this is supposed to be satire and funny but there’s a lot of talk on this website on changing the views of greek life and it needs to start with us. I’m not saying to stop talking about drinking or looks but only caring about how someone looks, cheating in school, and using philanthropy events as an excuse to black out? That goes against everything my sorority – and the sororities at my school – stand for.
I went to a state school where it was common for people to transfer in from community college or even go through recruitment sophomore or junior year. I know my chapter and other chapters I had friends in didn’t have an issue with what year a pnm was, but academics, involvement, looks, and personality were looked at. I think it definitely depends on what kind of school and what kind of greek system that school has.

Something I really needed to read – thank you!

Because insulting comments and half assed insults are “angry but fair responses”
Those nachos sound bomb tbh
