I’ve gotten pretty tired of hearing that I’m not Greek enough because I didn’t pledge a national sorority. As nice as it would be to know you have letters on campuses around the country, I only care about what’s on my campus. Sure the national girls were nice but it wasn’t me. I didn’t rush them because I didn’t feel accepted.
I rushed the local sorority because they were open arms and open hearts. So what if I don’t have a national organization or a council? So what if I’m only on one campus? That doesn’t bother me because I love my sisters more than anything. Isn’t that what Greek is about? Having another family who has your back no matter what and your best interests at heart?
If that’s not “Greek enough” then I don’t know what is.
