Not all of us get the luxury of typing on iPhones in the middle of a pool on our parents’ giant estate homes. Some of us have parents who live in tiny town homes, or we live on our own, and work more than one job to put ourselves through school, pay dues, and take care of other living expenses. Some of us do all of that whilst balancing a challenging class schedule, multiple organizations, internships or volunteer opportunities, and whatnot. But that’s cool about not being stressed on your pool float.
I’m going to go ahead and place a bet that if she does post proof but blacks out her name, you’ll accuse her of it still not being real. With people like you, there’s no winning. Quit trolling. You’re just a sad excuse for a human being and no one needs you here.
I actually didn’t make the claim, @ImHereForTheGangbang. She gave the police proof, and as this is a forum where you can’t even post pictures, asking for proof is irrelevant. Not to mention, she would have to show her name in the messages and she has every right to remain anonymous. Victim shaming isn’t okay.
Asking someone for proof that someone threatened their life (in a forum where it’s impossible to post pictures) is as ignorant as doubting a woman who says she’s been raped. Assuming the police would already have done something about it just proves you don’t keep up with the news. The police don’t seem to be concerned with threats against women, hell, they can barely be bothered when a violent crime actually is enacted against us.
Rape jokes aren’t funny. Rape isn’t funny. Anyone who makes rape jokes, defends people who make rape jokes, or attacks people for calling out people who make rape jokes can and should go jump in a lake. The original poster should be proud of herself for standing up to all of the people who tried to put her down.
That’s a gross oversimplification of her message and either you know that and you’re just being a douche, or you didn’t bother watching the entire video and are making an assumption based off of the title and the picture.
What’s next? “It’s not his fault he raped you?” The thing that separates humans from the rest of the animal kingdom is self control, and guys have that. Whether or not they choose to exercise it IS their fault.
As someone who works full time during the school year and overtime during the summer just to pay for my education, I’m not mad about this article or offended by it. It was written to reach out to people who are scoffed at because their parents paid for their schooling. It’s just as wrong to turn your nose up at someone who has everything paid, as it is to turn your nose up at someone because they’re poor. If my parents could pay for college, I would take it in a heartbeat, so there’s no hate here. You all are just further proof that our generation loves nothing more than to constantly find something to get offended over. Hop the fuck off.
Oh. My. Lord. She kept calm, and I know that if anyone had talked to me like that, said my very simple name wrong, implied that I don’t know how to read, and then called me rude for not being fake-happy, I would not have held my tongue like she did. Bravo, Cara.

You poor poor thing…
There’s also the fact that they were engaged…

Next, you’re going to tell me racism isn’t still alive and well. Go home.
