I read it and after reading this post and have faith in humanity (and womanhood) shattered, it was refreshing to see at least one other person understands, and my faith in humanity ( and womanhood ) is restored.
I just don’t understand any of the logic behind this. Engagement rings are really expensive! If he gets you a watch it isn’t to tell you to be on time it’s also another piece of jewelry. And if my boyfriend gave me something handmade, I would appreciate it because we have bills to pay. (Except, he’s awesome and still got me that kitchenaid stand mixer that I wanted <3) But still.
