Thank you for writing this! It is something that needs to be said. The main thing you can do for someone who is feeling down is jut be supportive. Inviting her out is great! Although sometimes getting out of bed, going to class, working out, eating right, doing your hair/makeup is the biggest challenge. Sometimes you can’t even take care of yourself. A sister who will talk to you and kindly push you to get back on track and be the best you can be is what you want when feeling low. Depression is a seriously mental illness and is no different of a sickness then if someone has the flu. Nobody’s Chooses to feel this way.
