I agree. In our chapter, standards is supposed to be used as a last resort. As in, you’ve talked to your sister a few times and you’re still not getting through to them. But a lot of girls just use standards wayyyy too often and just because they’re too immature to go have an adult conversation with their sister. Of course some situations that are serious need to be sent straight to standards but it’s often used as crutch for people with no back bone
