OMG, I DO TOO! When I went wedding gown shopping the Lazaro I tried on was my absolute FAVORITE! Iโve done a very large amount of wedding dress shopping/research after I got engaged (of course I had to start looking right away!) so I am going to share with you my expert knowledge! If you want a dress with a lot of beading, detail, flash, etc., a dress that is not your typical โeverybody wears thatโ wedding dress, I definitely suggest Lazaro and the other designers featured on the same website (jlmcouture.com), Pnina Tornai (better have a high budget!), Songul Sarpbas, Kenneth Poole (my personal favorite next to Lazaro!), Eve of Milady/Amalia Carrera (massive ballgowns), Christos, Justin Alexander, Olivia Couture, and Enzoani. For a dress with classic, clean lines, more simple, and are a little less in-your-face, but still gorgeous of course, I suggest Rosa Clara, Alita Graham, Amsale, Henry Roth, Michelle Roth (she has a seersucker dress!), Angel Rivera, Anne Barge, Augusta Jones, Romona Keveza, Melissa Sweet, Rivini, Priscilla of Boston, Vineyard Collection, and some of the designers at jlmcouture.com. Good luck on your search!
I forgot to mention Monique Lhuillier! Her most recent designs are absolutely gorgeous, classy and sweet. I don’t always love her dresses, but her recent collection is just darling!

It’s not just your face you should worry about, sweetie. I know we all like to achieve that “healthy glow,” but a tan is actually a sign of damage. Recognizing exposure to the rays as an ‘insult,’ the skin acts in self-defense by going into overdrive to produce more melanin (the pigment that darkens the skin). Please, don’t skimp on the sunscreen on the rest of your body. Wrinkles, skin cancer, and sun spots can occur anywhere on the body. Having bronzed skin while you’re young won’t make it worth the melanoma you have later in life. SLATHER ON THE SUNBLOCK! <3
Awww thank you both! Glad to be appreciated! Loved the column silverbordeaux, so refreshing to hear smart sorority women spreading the knowledge! Snaps to you!
Whatever the letter (or school), we’re all Greek together. If Greek life only included the big university schools, there would only be about 80 chapters for each sorority/fraternity. LIOB girl!
This girl obviously didn’t read the comments left under posts like the “weight loss commercial girl” and the “being stupid and not caring” TSMs, or she would have seen that the girls who post offensive statements and make insulting remarks are immediately called out by the other members of this website and are scolded by the sorority women who do have values and morals and refuse to be shoved into a stereotype. While some of the posted TSMs are inappropriate, degrading, and/or rude, the important thing to remember is that they are not meant to be taken seriously and are actually made to poke fun at ourselves. True, some of them are not funny at all and are actually quite sad, but the original poster is often criticized for making such comments. This girl needs to do a little more research before taking it to her blog.
Love it! Some of my friends went to schools without Greek life, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to disown the friends I’ve had since birth because they aren’t in a sorority.
