Hate to be the fun sponge here, but if your bestie breaks up with you and is constantly subtweeting you with her replacement bestie, then like maybe you did something to compromise said best friendship. And if you did, then were you really besties in the first place?

Or you could totally not be creepy/fb stalk her and be a mature, classy adult and say “Hi let’s go out for lunch and talk” to either get the closure you need or to rekindle.

im not upset by only this article, girlfriend. this is more of a straw that broke the camels back for me. what im saying is that lately there are SO many articles and posts that say it’s TSM, but they’re not. heavy drinking until you have to go get your stomach pumped isnt TSM either, its just stupid. Don’t tell me to get over myself, i am entitled to my opinions, and my thoughts are that TSM is perpetuating a culture that doesn’t reflect the greek community as a whole. all we see are stupid articles and posts now, as opposed to when I was a pledge.

Maybe if you were like, empathetic for 2.2 seconds you might understand that people are upset because this DOES happen, like you said. and it sucks and it hurts. and the only thing people cheated on DON’t want is a sassy article like this that rubs salt in the wound. Like there it’s NS to say ‘omg lol i hooked up with your boyfriend and he likes me better and if i really wanted to i could make him leave you for me but i dont want to. i mean like i want to be with him but i dont want to have to deal with his feelings or emotions (socio much) and i wouldnt date a cheater myself but like i’m allowing for cheating to happen. and i would totally hate me to but like i dont because im self absorbed.’

Satire: the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

So essentially you’re saying that people who are in relationships who are cheated on are stupid and using this articles ‘humor’ helps explain why? Like sorry not following.

Hi ok I’ve said this once and I will say it again. I don’t really understand why there are so many #tsm posts and columns like this that are so not a total sorority move. I remember being a pledge and TSM being like the cutest, coolest thing that I wanted to emulate so badly, like my chapters predecessors. If anyone in my chapter read me this article and took pride in how much of a TSM this is (lol shocker of the century, its not) I’d drop.

This is classless, aka everything TSM isn’t. Want to know what a real TSM would be? “Oh I started to like this frat bro. Found out he had a girlfriend so I didn’t pursue him and found someone better (like, not a douche who’d be willing to cheat on his girlfriend) and now I’m a lot happier.”

Associating this kind of behaviour with the greek community and saying that this is a total sorority move is gross. I think writers and editors alike should really reconsider what it means to be TSM. Like ok if you were solely doing this for the reaction, congrats, you got it. But I’d say wake the hell up and look at all the upset and negative feedback you’ve received from your frequent readers. as a result of this. Hell I’ll write for you because I’m pretty sure I could come up with something that better appeals to the greater women’s fraternity community. And judging by this awful article, I’m sure you’re desperate enough for some writers.
