I’m so disappointed in this article and the clear disregard for the social issues it highlights. Not only are the handmaids removed from their families but they are raped in what is referred to as ‘the ceremony’. Sexual assault isn’t a joke. It’s not funny. It doesn’t make someone a ‘whiny little bitch’ or someone with a ‘bad attitude’.
