First of all, she clearly says “MOST, not ALL.”
Secondly, I have been on both sides (the single and in committed relationship), and you do get a lot of flack when you’re in a relationship. People assume you can no longer have fun and that all you do is sit around waiting for your boyfriend to call, which shockingly, isn’t how relationships work.
And on the other hand, being single is fun, and who cares if you do have one night stands or random make outs? It was fun when I was single (and is fun for a lot of people) and whether it is something you do or don’t it has no consequence for anyone other than the person you are ~with~ and yourself.
So overall, I like this article a lot because it’s nice to finally have something about how I don’t need to be finding myself because people assume I am suddenly completely incapable of being my own person because I have a boyfriend.
But we also shouldn’t judge single girls who do or want to make out with people at parties or have one night stands because all it does is breed animosity and hate among girls as if there isn’t enough of that over guys to begin with?
(also calling this article and the author judgmental and then leaving a judgmental comment is kinda ridiculous and totally paints you in a great light!!)
