I looove all the geedy comments. “You should file a law suit ’cause some girls on a satirical website called you a bitch!” “You’re receiving direct assaults from people, which is a hate crime!” Bahahah good luck with that one, and remind me to never hire a lawyer who did their undergrad at CSU.

^How is people commenting on this ironic? Do you know what irony is? I’ll help you out here, sugar. As defined by Merriam-Webster, irony is “incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result”. So, for example, you making an incredibly rude and judgmental video and then getting all butthurt that girls are being rude and judgmental to you is an example of this “irony” concept. People calling you out in exaggerated ways on a comedy website meant to make people laugh by exaggerating some qualities of Greek life is not ironic at all. Complaining that girls have been judgmental or guys have been overly sexual on here is like complaining that a story you read in The Onion isn’t actually true- that’s the whole point of the website, babe.

Ugh, girls who say they just “get along better with guys” are a serious pet peeve for me. “Most of my friends are guys” usually means “I’m a psycho bitch and/or slut and/or attention whore so girls don’t want to be friends with me” not “I can hang with the guys”. Honestly, I’d say many of us aren’t TSM high-maintenance and can hang with the guys- most of my sisters can, no problem. The girl that says “well, guys are less drama, I get them better” is the one who brings all the drama in the first place by being an attention whore, or talking badly about other friends, or trying to get with someone’s boyfriend, or acting like a spoiled child all the time, etc. and then girls don’t want to be friends with her, not the other way around. Those of us with a healthy mix of male and female friends don’t go around advertising it because we don’t think it makes us special.

Whoa there tiger. HP didn’t say anything about disrespecting waiters, that was someone in the comments. The part of the column on tipping says that guys should tip well. Also, you can be employed and still be on welfare. Keep trying though, I’m sure you’ll get it next time! 🙂

HP, I love your columns because they’re honest and they make me laugh. I don’t come on TSM looking for heartwarming stories about philanthropy or sisterhood or being a shining example of high standards and decorum, I live those things; I want to laugh about things that are awful and way too true, and possibly mock someone’s sloppy crafting “skills”. Unless you’re on payroll, this website should have nothing to do with your actual life. Go outside or something.

Okay fine, I’ll be the first dumb person who admits they tip 20% because the math is easier. I also tip my change at registers because I don’t like carrying a giant thing of coins all the time

Right? I saw a picture of some Theta Phi Alphas doing DG’s arm-salute thing (which I think is totally adorable) backwards and claiming it was a theta. Copying/adapting other group’s established signs is the worstt.

Not from Texas, but all the Texans I know proudly state “Texas is not the south, Texas is Texas!” which I’d always assumed meant that Texas>the South? So saying that Texas isn’t in the south was a good thing to them, Texas is its own awesome separate entity.

Clearly they have no time to properly craft between all the drinking in letters and stealing bows from small children. Seriously though, if I ever submitted a craft to TSM I’d make sure it was absolutely perfect…
