I think things like this happen way too often. My sorority went on the same power hungry high and attempted to kick me out 2 weeks before I graduated. Nationals had my back
Regardless you should always handle situations with class. With that being said, there are times when your standards make unreasonable punishments. When I was a senior in college with two weeks left till graduation I was sent to standards and told I was being kicked out. I was never on any type of probation up to that point. Thankfully all it took was a an email to an advisor to fix it and my membership was not revoked. But when the wrong members are placed in positions like this the whole standards process becomes corrupt. Needless to say the girls all lost their positions (not because of anything I did) about a month later
