I’m sorry I really don’t agree with the writer’s last paragraph. Ordering a beer on a first date isn’t laying all your cards down on the table. I order beers all the time on first dates because I like the taste of beer. I normally get asked on a second date without sleeping with them on the first date. Guys don’t really care what you drink as long as it doesn’t break their bank. Having a personality and confidence are what get you the second date…not whether you order beer, vodka soda, or a nonalcoholic drink. If you need a more alcoholic drink than a beer to bring out your personality for someone to see, then order your vodka. The writer should stop judging women that drink beer by saying we don’t have a lot to offer or calling us liars. I, for one, know I have a lot to offer and the writer showed how short-sighted she really is.
