You’ve got to love yourself and be happy by yourself before you could ever truly be happy with “the one”. Just keep really loving yourself (not being selfish or conceded, though), and putting good energy into the world and good things will come your way.
Now it will be a luxury to a little girl who couldn’t afford a lilly dress! Imagine a mother coming home with a lily dress for a young girl, that the family could;t have afforded previously. A misfortune for you my be a “luxury” for someone else.
Why would you spend $300 to look like a giant 6 year old? Save that money and go to Nepal!! Donate it to shark conservation research! Go skydiving! Take guitar lessons! Pay for a fancy dinner for all your friends! I know it is important to look nice and it makes you feel good but I promise you there are 1000 cute brands and you have better things to focus on that this! You say Lilly dresses being expensive makes you unique when wearing them, but it really makes you a stereotype of a rich shallow sorority girl just like every other girl wearing lilly. I’m not saying this person is you, because you are an amazing person. Use that money towards something outside of your comfort zone, try something new, give the money away, be adventurous. I promise if you focus your energy and resources on that you will feel a whole lot better. Try and talk about positive things with your sisters, and not complain about the “misfortune” or #LillyForTarget. Also think about the little girl who is so excited to get her lilly dress because her mom can finally afford to buy her one. She will probably wear it for a week straight. Anyways, sorry this is so long… This isn’t meant to be offensive, just trying to explain that everyone is SO unique and should use their energy towards their passions.

I bet 1/2 the people “outraged” by this buy at least one thing from #LillyforTarget
