I’d say that reputations stick around for quite a while and take a serious amount of pull to change on a short notice, especially when trying to move up the ladder. The top two or three sororities at my school are, unsurprisingly, the ones that have been chartered there the longest, have the most money/alumni, nicest houses, and what have you. It takes something really big to burst into the top tier in everyone’s mind. For guys this is easy (new house, biggest pledge class, top chapter award, etc.) For girls…I don’t know. It’s all about perception. I can think of at least two or three sorority chapters at my school that have plenty of smokeshow girls but fly so low under the radar that no one pays much attention to them.
Anyways, you aren’t terrible, Pearls, but you write about things that only people from the North think about. Seriously. This is a real writing tip. If you want people (sorority girls from all across the country, presumably) to care about what you write, write about things they care about. I obviously don’t have the demographic numbers, but seeing as Greek life isn’t exactly the thing to do up there I’m going to go out on a limb and say the majority of TSM readership is not located inside the state of New York.
You are correct, miss. You are from America. Well, probably, anyway, I wouldn’t know. However, when I refer to God’s Country I refer to the portion of the United States that is covered by the boundaries of the Southeastern Conference, with possible exceptions for VA & NC. And fuck Florida. But you aren’t from any of those places, so it doesn’t matter.
I couldn’t tell you what house she’s in (others on here probably could), but I can say for sure after reading her stuff for a while that she’s not from anywhere near God’s Country.
^^ Yes and no. This isn’t really Christmas-related, but I’m going here anyway just because. Much is made of the fact that most of the Founders weren’t what we would consider textbook Christians today (lots of Deists, etc), but let’s be real here. The concept of separation of church & state was intended to protect both the government from the church AND the church from the government. Way too much emphasis is put on the former and not nearly enough on the latter, and we’re starting to see encroachment manifested more and more these days.
^ The lady speaks the truth. Like my first semester when I set the curve on one test in a lecture class and the prof posted all the grades up with names beside them since it was such a large class. Everyone was standing around the bulletin board going “who the fuck is _______ _______, that jerk” and my pledge ass was just standing there praying no one recognized me.
I mean, let’s be honest here, we all know the type. Blonde, skinny, great rack, seems dumber than rocks when you talk to her, but somehow has the ability to major in pre-med and make 4.0s. I don’t understand it, but whatever.
“Damn, dude. Guess we won’t be seeing him around the house much anymore. If she lets him out of the vaginal cave for Spring Break, we gotta make sure he gets a lap dance from a fat black stripper. It’s just one of those things that needs to happen, you know?”
^ I will not consider it.
Moral of this story: No matter where you are in life, the SEC is still going to fuck you.
This. I mean, 7 grand during the month of Spring Break is one thing, but in January or February? Are you participating in the trading of humans?
Pretty sure you could buy a handle of top-shelf booze daily and clean out Brooks Brothers every other week and STILL not hit 7 grand in a month.

Nah, Connor actually is an aberration.
You are vastly inferior to the real DOOD, friend.
Oh no, she called me stupid.

The house study room is actually a great place to utilize said penis koozies, in my experience.
But can you tell us more about mudsharking, though?
Jesus, man, your response to number two is just straight rapey.
I take it “like” is being corrected to “pike”, which is just terribly unfortunate.

I think what you were trying to say here was “Athletic Gentlemen Whom Have Outkicked Their Coverage”. Look it up.
Also, I’m still butthurt about Sam Steele. She made me want to be a better man.
Somebody interview this chica for TSM, pronto.
