Allen, this was mainly for all the haters posting. 9 times out of 10 the hatred they spew is due from lack of education on the subject. I don’t know if they don’t educate themselves on the topic out of fear or just laziness…. or both.

All I do know is that until people educate themselves, we will always have someone spouting hatred….

Ok, let me educate you folks on a few things regarding Transgender in general. Then I might even drop so knowledge regarding me. For those that have an open mind, you will actually read this, for those of you that don’t your responses will clearly show your lack of understanding or open-mindedness.

First off, Transgender people are not psychotic, want to always cut off their genitals and do all the crazy stuff you think up. So let’s start with the basics shall we?

We are people, with feelings and dreams just like you. Just like you we seek to be happy and succeed in life. We get up in the morning, go to work, school or whatever we have going on for the day. After the day, we wind down the day just like you might, watching movies or going out with friends.

Chances are you see one of us during the day, and don’t even realize it. Some transgender people blend in quite well, and you would be none the wiser. Some do stand out, but they don’t go bugging the heck out of you or belittling you. The ones you see could be Male to Female or Female to Male. You just don’t know do you? Are you going to crotch check everyone you meet? I guarantee you won’t make many new friends that way. You could ask, but chances are unless they have known you for a while and trust you, or are openly advocating for Trans* rights you could be clueless.

Transgender people suffer from what the psychiatric world has labeled “ Gender Identity Disphoria”. Most people know who they are at a young age. Some are aligned with their given gender of birth, some do not. Let’s get one thing clear. GENDER IDENTITY AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND BIOLOGICAL SEX ARE THREE SEPARATE THINGS. Some are just lucky to have them align with each other. Not everyone does. There are many out there that don’t. That’s just life.

As to the hacking off of body parts comments. Let you enlighten you, not all Transgender people seek surgery. The Transgender community has a large umbrella. It covers many aspects from cross-dressing to full transition of sexual genitalia. Some do not wish to have surgery. They accept the fact that their body and mind do not match. They continue on in life presenting they gender they identify with but still are “intact” with the original genitalia. There are some that only want the top surgery, to either remove or have placed the aligning chest to their gender identity.

Then you have those that get everything done. Top, bottom, face, neck, hips, everything! Did you know that there has even been a transgender playmate? I bet you didn’t. Now you will wonder every time you look at one of your porn magazines if that truly a biologically born female or not.

As for me personally, I will state one thing that is wrong with this article. I have not had SRS(Sex Reassignment Surgery) yet. Do I plan to? The answer is yes. I have known since I was 8 who I truly am. I am not ashamed of who I am anymore. As of right now I am just working to get the upper surgery. Combined, this is over $30,000. Separate, $8,000 and $25,000. It is not just something I can get done overnight.

I have to raise this on my own… No help from the Fraternity ,my family or anyone. But before you go and jump all over my Fraternity, you might want to shut your mouth. There are other Fraternities out there that accept transgender members. Or did you forget the Fraternity at Emerson College that rose over $16,000 dollars for one of its new members to get their top surgery? This was a FtM. She is still biologically female, as you put it still has a vagina, but has been accepted for her Gender Identity.

Its time to grow up, and stop trying to fit everything in a little box for everything. There is way too much that don’t fit into that box. Gender is fluid, not binary.

Oh, btw , Hot Piece (@VeronicaGrandex) I have never allowed my legs to get hairy…even before I stopped hiding the true me. That’s just, ugh, gross! But I do ask before you write another article like this, you check some facts first and not just assume things. No were in my article did I state I had a sex change. Oh,and I have never lost control of the remote… except to my kid….
