How do you know that Cristina’s parents or Cristina herself never faced “racist policies [that] were implemented so that minorities could not climb the socio-economic ladder”? Did you even take a second to look at who wrote the article? She’s clearly Hispanic, as you’d be able to tell by taking a second to glance at her last name. I’m sure her family have faced some struggles before, and I’m sure they did work 40x harder than a lot of people to get to where they are now.
