I am perfectly aware of our mission and we live up to it. I don’t think the fact that I made a grammatical error is misrepresenting or not living up to what we stand for as much as sisters from other chapters bashing us on this website. THAT is what I have a problem with. Clearly, I am not the only person on here who is not always grammatically correct, take a look at “Y’all shoulda known full well that this would be happen.” And to address that comment, your right I do know better. I do not read, follow, or concern myself with this website because I already know that it is basically full of a bunch of Greeks making themselves as well as other Greeks look bad. I only just today made an account for the sole purpose of commenting on this particular feed after it was brought to our attention that our video was posted and being bashed on here. With this being said I am done commenting on this ridiculous site and going back to not concerning myself with such petty drama.
Considering I was a part of the pledge class that I referred to, I can assure you that all of the ladies given a bid were carefully selected by my sisters and of the utmost quality of which is fitting for a TPA. I can also tell you that many of these ladies turned down other bids to accept theirs from Theta Phi. So although your theory doesn’t surprise me, I can assure you these ladies are far from “rejects that no other sorority wanted”. If anything, the large number of new members from that recruitment is just an example of how great our chapter is that 17 ladies chose TPA over other orgs! Obviously we saw something in Theta Phi that we wanted to be a part of and our sisters saw something in us.
prettyinbows: there will be no “chapter drama” brewing from this ridiculous site or its negative comments. As far as we know it was not somebody actually from our chapter that posted this video on here in the first place. It was just brought to our attention that it was on here. We have an amazing and close knit chapter full of wonderful ladies who strive to represent Theta Phi Alpha as it should be. Not how some on here have because these rude comments are very unbecoming of what we stand for. If anything, this ignorance will only bring us closer in our bonds of sisterhood to stand up and combat the negativity spewed on this website.
On the contrary, we make U of M look good considering we hold the highest GPA of all Greek orgs on campus! We also won the Greek excellence award for our service to both U of M and our community! We won Greek Week several times including this year; as well as excelling in all of our philanthropic and fundraising efforts! There is nothing about TPA that makes our campus look bad including our silly yet fun video we made! You people making all these ignorant and unjustified comments should obviously take a look at what type of person you are to talk so badly about a group of ladies simply having fun and showing our sisterhood. It is painfully clear from this site and these comments that most of you are simple minded and clearly not leaders but just followers who have nothing better to do than put others down!
Yes it is a REAL sorority! As matter of fact Theta Phi Alpha is turning 100 this year! And I am not sure why you felt the need to curse at me and insinuate what I may or may not look like? Did that make you feel better about yourself; to try to insult someone else? I wonder if the people in your org. treat each other as badly as you try to treat others? Just another example of the stereotypes that most Greeks try to fight against. Theta Phi’s have a creed we are suppose to live by as well as an oath we took so unless your a Theta Phi Alpha, which clearly your not, then please don’t worry about my comments regarding MY fellow sisters! The ladies from other chapters who made rude and uncalled for comments on here are NOT representing TPA as they should! So yes, shame on them!

I only made an account on here so that I could stand up for my fellow sisters on this feed. I would never spend time on here wasting my time with the negativity this site is filled with!
As a TPA I am glad this video is gone off of this ridiculous site. I only wish all these negative and rude comments could be removed also. Especially those from fellow TPA’s. These ladies who are adding rude comments are NOT representing what a TPA should be by perpetuating the negativity that this site thrives on. As a TPA I am seriously disappointed in my fellow sisters for forgetting what our creed stands for and living by the oath we all took! Shame on all of you!
As a TPA of the chapter in this video I am honestly mortified that other TPA’s would be so rude and disrespectful to their fellow sisters. Maybe some of the TPA’s posting here should really try to study our creed and think about what it stands for! For the record, this recruitment video yielded the biggest pledge class of our chapters history, including myself!
