I agree with you; I went through recruitment my freshman year and had a similar experience. I decided to try it again my sophomore year, and it was much better. I ended up joining a house that didn’t want me my freshman year, and now I’m living in it. Just goes to show how you really can’t fucking read a book by its cover. Also, recruitment sucks just as much, if not more, from the other side. The process needs to change entirely.
