Tell me, how is it fair that a member of the Black community can go day after day saying comment after comment about the White community being basic, being racist, being stupid, being whatever, yet the moment a White person says the smallest thing about a Black person, EVERYTHING goes down the toilet. My goodness, riots are happening, protests that only hurt people are outbreaking and this society is becoming more and more corrupt. Every race faces racism, every race has a past. Undoubtedly the Black community has endured unspeakable things, but how does that make it okay to do similar things to another race? It’s petty and it’s immature. The only way this country will prosper rather than deplete is if we drop the focus on “ending discrimination” and simply let it happen.

Our nation was founded on free speech and while Butler has the right to share his feelings, he does not have the right to storm in and disrupt an entire University and city. When will we grow tired of starting battle after battle based on skin color and differing opinions.
