Just to clarify, these rules apply ONLY to active members. PNMs are permitted to and often do go to fraternity houses during the week of recruitment, and they ask fraternity men their opinions on houses. This rule does nothing to prevent PNMs being influenced by men in fraternities.
Generally, TSM is meant to be a satirical website poking fun at Greek life, so don’t take the articles here to seriously. Obviously this particular article was a bit more sincere, just try to use common sense when reading articles on a site meant to be humorous. I don’t this giving legitimate advise is actually one of TSM’s priorities.
