I go to a super small private school where we only have one sorority and one fraternity. It’s nice because you’re either Greek or you’re not; there’s no ranking and we have such a tight bond with the fraternity. Obviously that type of Greek life isn’t for everyone, but don’t be afraid of pledging at a small school just because you’re not in a huge chapter. I wouldn’t wanna have it any other way.
As a local sorority member this article upsets me. The first rule we were taught as pledges was not to drink in our letters and we follow rules just as strictly as a national sorority would if not more. I don’t know what kind of sorority you’re in, but this has no reflection on my local sorority except that all the girls are extremely close.
