Just because you admit that you’re making a generalization, doesn’t mean that it’s okay. I am highly offended by your remark about the girl raised by a nanny. I adore my mother for working throughout my childhood- even if it meant sometimes being raised by another woman. I aspire to bust through the glass ceiling just like my mother did that you are satisfied being under. Also, what if your sugar daddy leaves you/ cheats on you? You won’t have any experience and everyone younger than you will be much more appealing to potential employers. I agree that being a mother is the hardest job on Earth, but no need to patronize women’s parenting for having ambition outside domestic duties. My mother is in the top 1% of executives in the country and the only woman in her company at that level, so do not tell me or any other woman that she cannot work and have her daughter turn out normal. I LOVE YOU, MOM (and all other women out there setting an example for their daughters). We should all be building each other up instead of tearing each other down. We are all women.
