I’m honestly incredibly disappointed to see a post like this. There’s so much superficiality in this, you’re upset because your sisters don’t have “nice smiles, nice legs and fancy cars?” If that’s why you went Greek in the first place-you’re lucky you got into an hour because that’s not what Greek life is about. I’m in a bottom house and it has it’s pros and cons and there are certainly days where I ask myself “what if”. But I’m surrounded by a community of women I feel myself around. I see the top girls and although they look desirable from the outside, I know that ultimately I wouldn’t be allowed to truly blossom into myself. I’ve met my best friends, my sisters in my chapter. I’ve become a leader and I believe I’ve been led down the path I have for a reason. It’s a shame to see you’re pining in a house, putting down your sisters. If you don’t want to be there for them, why should they be there for you. Thats what Greek life is about. What’s the point without the sisterhood?
