I actually broke off a friendship a couple years ago because this annoyed me so much. The friend was overweight, and wholehearted believed that leggings were only made to be worn with dresses, bless her heart. She always got upset if I wore leggings to work out, saying that “leggings are not pants”. I usually responded with a fake smile and “silly me, I suppose I should wear my ex-boyfriend’s basketball shorts to the gym like you, but unfortunately, I don’t wear boy’s shorts”.

I’m sure you can guess who got into a top-tier sorority, and who got stuck with a bottom-tier sorority.

This makes me really sad. If you are working that hard to hide it, you probably have a serious eating disorder. Please talk to someone. I have made myself throw up side-by-side with some of my sisters, and it is not okay, even if it is does say something about the truth behind the stereotypes about sorority girls.

Plus, after being bulimic through high school, I learned that forcing yourself to throw up actually slows down your metabolism so much that throwing up is really pointless because your slow metabolism will make you fat.
