As an art student and sorority woman I actually enjoyed this video. It’s hard to walk the tightrope between two very different cultures. In many art departments, students strive for independence and individuality, and criticize those who participate in serial practices and conformity because they want theirselves and work to stand out. To art students, Greeks appear “unoriginal” because they stereotypically love glitter, Kendra Scott, and wearing matching letters with 100 other women. On the flip side, many Greeks and those outside art departments have a hard time understanding that visual art degrees aren’t the same as the blow-off art elective they took in high school. For many art students, art is about creating something that starts a dialogue. (Exactly what has happened here.) From the outside looking in, it’s hard to understand. From the inside speaking out its hard to explain.
Sounds like the writer couldn’t resist saying this woman’s sorority affiliation. She could have disaffiliated the woman in the article like many articles about other instances do.
I’m literally the exact same, and a Leo!
Anthem of my life
If people want to have fun dressing up like the loosing team, let them. The union definitely won.
