it Irritates me that if what is written below is true for dress code at the gym:
Sleeveless shirts with the arm holes open below the bend of the elbow
Shirts that expose midriff
Excessively small and short shorts
Clothing with inappropriate/offensive graphics and/or language
and students who are not violating any of these offenses are appearing to still get kicked out.
I think you are missing the point of the article. It is ridiculous that someone can’t show a tiny part of their back at the gym. It is a GYM! Where people sweat and want to be comfortable. It is not an office and it just seems absurd that someone can be prevented from working out because a triangle of skin on her back is being shown.
