Perhaps you should try a different salon. I have been to several in my area. I have been to non-Asians and they are just as talkative (and rude) as any other shop. On the up side I have recently found a shop that I love that has both Asians and non-Asians and they do a new form of nails called NexGen and I love them. They aren’t acrylic and I have had no issues with them breaking or chipping.
Also, you can look at it like this… I had a nail tech (white lady, real nice) that I became good friends with. She became too involved with my life (was talking to my mother, spreading lies about me and was hitting on my boyfriend!) and I had to cut her out of my life so I had to find a new nail tech, which sucked cause she did the GEL nails and I really liked them. So if you go to a shop of Asian workers who don’t really talk to you, at least you don’t risk them becoming intertwined in your life and having to find a new shop in the end.
