I actually find this incredibly relatable for anybody who had chosen to date a douchebag (knowingly or unknowingly in the beginning). And let’s face it, the guys that most sorority girls go for in college aren’t always the nicest guys.
Maybe this is just me, but personally, I would rather not be a famous musician if that means I wouldn’t have a ton of songs tracking my relationship failures. Not to mention that most girls don’t have that many relationship failures/problems by 22, it’s a little sad she does.
If you get roofied you will be sick for days. Not just the next morning the way you would with a hangover. People that get roofied report feeling like they are dying for several days afterwards because the toxin doesn’t leave the body right away.
Okay…what Shelby said may not have been the most positive reflection on Greek life. However, the reaction I am seeing from fellow Greeks, particularly sorority women is downright shameful. We are supposed to uphold the idea of class, not harass people we disagree with. If either of the videos makes you that upset, just let it go and don’t watch it again. This shouldn’t be as big of a deal as its become.
If a woman chooses to be a housewife, I’m all for that. However, don’t make statements that will slow down progress for the rest of us, or will make others think less of us. Women in top positions have to work twice as hard to get there because of mentalities like that.
Considering that is vandalism, maybe putting this picture online…or even taking this picture, for that matter, wasn’t the best idea. Just saying.
