last I checked, members of greek life were some of the most successful citizens in this country… are they implying that it’s bad for the word “greek” to be associated with successful people? is being successful now considered racist? or is the administration themselves participating in prejudice by believing the “greek life is full of horrible people” rhetoric, and appropriating the sorority culture of innocent upstanding members of sorority?
I work in finance. The company just completed our first billion dollar month. Our offices are also decked out with pink unicorns and rainbows (true story) we wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂
it reaaallly irks me that the same mainstream media that is so quick to jump down everyone’s throats about being PC, is always so quick to vilify sorority women. What makes it ok to pick on us over anyone else?
sorry for the rant, but I’ll never understand why some people will go out of their way to ruin someone else’s happiness. this girl gets paid more than minimum wage to make fancy coffee, and she gets annoyed when she has to make fancy coffee? she gets so annoyed about having to do her job that she would be happy messing with someone else’s day? girl needs a reality check. we shouldn’t be giving people like this attention.
oh girl, you should have reported that nurse. a little bleeding is normal, but a lot of bleeding could be malpractice, and the fact that she immediately left with no notice to you about what happened or what to do only supports that theory. when a doctor or nurse screws up, they are trained to say specific things, in case they are taken to court where their words can be used against them. many inexperienced practitioners dont say anything at all. I hope other women haven’t had to suffer because of her 🙁

girl, if you get this agitated just from seeing dogs and babies and hot boys and beaches and crafts, perhaps it’s time to just delete Facebook and focus on yourself…
thank you! it doesn’t get more sexist than believing that all women are precious, delicate, pure beings who need protection against those dirty, sexual, primal men who obviously only want to get into our pants (which, by the way, is just as sexist towards men as it is to women!). women are just as dirty, sexual, passionate, and resilient as men, and the moment society stops seeing us as little girls and instead treats us like real people is the moment society will be able to move forward.

“Once you can laugh at your own weaknesses, you can move forward. Comedy breaks down walls. It opens up people. If you’re good, you can fill up those openings with something positive. Maybe you can combat some of the ugliness in the world.” -Goldie Hawn
“Forget asking for advice, either. You aren’t going to be able to get an honest, unbiased opinion from someone who has been inside of you.”
that’s quite the assumption there, no? in my experience, the best boyfriend i ever had was also the most real and honest person Ive ever known, which is why I chose to date him…
I dated a fraternity president while I was sweetheart for his chapter, which was super fun don’t get me wrong, but also meant I had to be around a lot of the drama and stress… def one of the few things in Greek life I’m happy I did but wouldn’t want to relive!

all I’m saying is that I would rather face a campus shooter with my own gun, than face them with a rubber dick.
