Honestly I think this article is bullshit for making this girl feel even worse about her situation than she already does. You assumed she was looking down on a bottom tier sorority but I felt that way about almost all of the “top tiers” at my school during recruitment. I did a suicide bid because one of my pref houses I did not click with at all and I had awkward and forced conversations with all week. I didn’t get the bid, but I know I would feel worse belonging to a house that didn’t feel right and wasn’t even a “bottom tier” sorority. If she felt like it was better for her personally to drop, then so be it. Not everyone wants to force friendships in houses they know they will not like. I don’t regret doing that bid because I know it happened for a reason. Just because this girl dropped because she felt that was the right thing for her doesn’t mean she should be bashed on social media and made to feel worse because she didn’t agree with what you are saying.
