You’re brilliant! If our organizations are built on confidence, strong sisterly relationships, and building up women; why are we ranking each other? That kind of defeats the purpose of why we all joined our wonderful organizations in the first place.
I’m an education major as well as a dyslexic. The bottom line is (while you should be compassionate when teaching) that’s not what teaching is about. Teaching is a profession. It should be treated as a profession. We go to school and work hard just like everyone else. And no, my classes aren’t “easy,” obviously it’s not engineering, but it is by no means easy. People don’t go into teaching for the money or because it’s “easy.” And it is high time that we start treating teachers less like “compassionate people” and more like professionals
