I’m going to assume you were being ironic when you wrote “No one takes you seriously, no one wants to “hit you up,” and no one will think you’re worth jack shit until you use the correct form of their, there, and they’re,” considering you incorrectly used “your” when it should have said “you’re” when you wrote “because the only thing your spreading is a constant need for attention” right above it under the Social Media Activist section. That aside, I thought the rest of the column was pretty spot-on.
I don’t think you are being fuddy duddy at all. She’s making a joke of the fact that she may have been driving under the influence and lost her license. She’s getting her 15 minutes of fame for making a joke out of the legal system as she drives around in her sorority letters too. We shouldn’t be praising her.
Just wanted to point out that if the author is a male, his blurb should say that he is a fiery Latino as Latina refers to females. Other than that, interesting article.
So, you are upset that you were judged by sororities while you judged another sorority to be beneath you? That makes perfect sense and is not the least bit hypocritical. The system worked just well and your poor attitude regarding what Greek life is all about is the reason you are a GDI. I do not feel the least bit sorry for you. Instead, it seems as though that chapter you were too good to join dodged a real bullet. With that kind of attitude, you probably would have disaffiliated a year or so after once you had enough fun at the fraternity houses and can move on to a bar.
According to your name, sororities (the actual plural of sorority) are for dumbasses. You also struggle to differentiate between “your” and “you’re” but, by all means, please continue to put other people down. To anyone else reading this troll’s posts, please know that sorority women are not all this vapid and cruel.
I still fail to see how any college-educated woman would think it was okay to make fun of homeless people by dressing up like them. Can you be any more insensitive? This isn’t funny. Instead, it’s just offensive.
Between you sweetestbetch and Uconnaepi, I don’t know who is the bigger troll. Both of you have nothing but, hateful things to say. Maybe you should get out more and learn how to make friends.
I hate when losers like Uconnaepi feel the need to make hateful statements throughout TSM. Not a fan of cigars but, these girls are enjoying themselves.
Making a profile for a UConnaepi (fraternity) to go on TSM and make hateful comments is really, “EEEWWWW!” Go back to hanging out under your bridge, troll. Girls, cute picture.
^This guy (with the girl picture) keeps making hateful comments on TSM. Maybe you should get a life and leave your dungeon, troll. She’s a cute girl and they are having fun.
Thanks. The truth is that I have many friends who are sisters of Alpha Delta Pi. The one poster assumes that maybe we have something against ADPi. It’s quite the opposite. I hold all the NPC sororities in such high regard that when one of them does this, it reflects poorly on all of us. I don’t think Alpha Delta Pi is a bad sorority and I don’t even think this chapter is bad. They made a poor choice. I’ve seen charters pulled for much less. I hope the ladies of this chapter realize how poorly this reflects on all of us and their HQ as a whole. I hope they own up to their mistake and start recognizing that they are always wearing their letters.
Oh, now that makes a difference. “Hey girls, let’s pretend to be homeless. That’ll be a good time. Then we get to dress up on day two so we don’t have to be one of THOSE people.” Thanks for clarifying. Now I can sleep easy tonight.
Hold up. You can’t even spell “riches” properly and I’m the idiot? So, help me understand this. Dressing in rags to emulate homeless people is now classy? Guess I missed the memo on that one. I know the facts. College-educated women who have the privilege of attending an institution of higher education dress up as poor people for fun. Isn’t that the gist of the theme? What am I missing Sosrat28? Please, clarify.
As I generally agree with many of your columns and find them interesting, I sincerely hope you are not advocating for this theme if the girls are willing to look sexy. Where do we draw the line? Should sororities start having a “Skinny Bitches and Double Chins” party? Why not have a “Disability Date Dash” for those that enjoy making fun of people that are different than them? How many other incredibly offensive themes can we think up? I’m sure National/ International Headquarters of all these sororities just love this negative publicity that smacks of entitlement.
So much of this is actually spot on. Great job really hitting what Northeastern sorority girls are like. There is a definite difference between southern and northern sorority girls. They aren’t bad differences–just differences.
Yes, because asking your guests to not even bother buying you gifts for your wedding and instead asking they donate to charities for sick children and people with disabilities is really tacky. Trying way too hard sweetiepiphi is much-much more tacky than you can imagine. Stop trying so hard.

Having a name like that would lead others to believe that you may not be poor but, you sure are stupid.

Cute picture. Love the badge on the house.

I’d love to see what this tool looks like. These girls are adorable. Keep doing you, girls.
Of course you’d think that, because you don’t have any friends who would actually play this game with you.
