Agreed! As a South Carolinian, I can say that the argument for “it’s a sin” is such bullshit. It is so sad that a group of people use religion to discriminate against others because they believe being gay is wrong. It doesn’t matter personal opinion, because in all honesty, a persons opinion should not reflect laws that determine another person’s rights in this country. It’s 2014 and it’s about time that this country realizes that separation of church and state is the law of the land. Not to offend anybody with a strong faith, because faith can be a beautiful thing. However, it is clearly stated in our nation’s constitution that religion should not influence our laws.
LOVE THIS! #14 is so true! IF, and I mean IF, a relationship is meant to last then you will fight for each other. Both parties have to want it. If he is not willing to fight for you, then pack up and move on! You are better off without him anyway because there is bound to be someone out there willing to fight to call you his.
I joined my chapter as an upperclassman and I couldn’t be happier! Looking back I am glad to have taken the time to get adjusted to college life before joining an organizations on campus. Just like the article states, an upperclassman can bring different values/lessons that her freshmen counterparts have not acquired yet. No matter the amount of time spent in your chapter, wearing your letters proudly speaks volumes about your sisterhood. A sorority is not just for four years (or however long you are in), but for life!
<3 I don't care what anyone says about Carrie.. she is my sister and I WILL support her no matter what! FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH is the vow i took and I will not forsake a sister. SLAM!
Snaps!!! I totally agree!! I am going to school for my MAT to teach history in high school. It’s so exciting to see posts about a fellow NPC woman pursuing her dreams! Good for you!
WOW! I mean wow! It’s really nice to hear his actual voice. He sounds damn good!!!
