you can be confident AND quirky. you can be “normal” (whatever that means) AND still be insecure. insecurity and discomfort are a part of finding yourself. every human is awkward in at least some settings. we’re not fucking robots. this isn’t satire and doesn’t support sorority values. tbh you just sound like a bully.
This “movement” wreaks internalized misogyny to me. Being a girly girl doesn’t make you better and being like these girls doesn’t either. They’re hating girls for doing whatever the fuck we want, for following our interests. While I can relate to many of the #ActualSororityMove posts, I also relate to lots of TSM things. Neither way to “be a girl” is better.
YES! Similarly, I work out every day and idk why but people get so rude about it. I honestly think that sometimes it’s because they wish they could do it too. They know it’s the healthier choice so they assume I think I’m better than them. Which I totally don’t. Sometimes I wanna hit snooze and skip my work out. But you do you, and I’ll do me.
^agree. when you join a sorority, you sign contracts binding you to these responsibilities. Plus, not to sound like a brat, but if you’re struggling that much financially, you should prioritize and probably not join a sorority.

“The civil war wasn’t even about slavery!” HAHA okay. Let me guess, the confederate flag is about *heritage* too.
Now I wanna know what the tattoo is…
lol except “to each their own” is exactly what this movement is NOT saying.
