Jenna used to be known as 2NOTBrokeGirls, but then one of the girls actually went broke, so she's struck out on her own. Jenna spends her free time saving the world, one sorority girl at a time (usually while wearing yoga pants), questioning why she decided to get a doctorate, and documenting her love of all things cheese related. You can ask her anything you want about football, using your boobs to get what you want, and pizza at @JennaLCrowley on Twitter or via email at JennaLCrowley@gmail.com.
I’m sorry you had a similar situation since I clearly know much it sucks. But I actually wrote this a little bit ago when it happened to me (anger writing helps) and waited to submit it until I was ready to share it, which happened to be today. And we don’t have access to other people’s submissions so I never saw yours.
And while it’s great that the “pledging rituals” didn’t negatively affect them, the point is that you have no idea how something could affect negatively someone and it’s not a risk that outweighs the reward.

You are very welcome.
That’s one thing, but these “trunk parties” are being thrown in addition to graduation parties.
Very true, very true.
