This is just embarrassing to have on a “sorority” website. Why do girls in Greek organizations get such a bad rep? It’s because “sorority girls” post stuff like this on the Internet for the world to see. Like seriously?!? Come on now TSM. Use those editing skills and common sense. You are always wearing your letters- why shame your organizations with posts like this.
Sometimes a little acts one way before she is matched with a big (read: nice) and then she turns into a complete bitch afterwards because she thinks she is invincible and can’t get depledged
Our new members and some actives got added (and messaged) by some creepy guys on Facebook. There were like 8 or 9 of them. Finally a few of us realized that this was an issue and we all blocked them
This girl obviously has a vendetta against Theta and is looking for her 5 minutes in fame. The only offensive thing about this situation is that CASA is going to potentially suffer from a lack of a donation from a Greek organization. Does this girl not realize that fraternities and sororities alike donate huge amounts of money and fund raise for various causes? So what if there are maracas on a NACHO night. It is FESTIVE. And FUN.
I creeped on her twitter and just shook my head at her ignorance. I try to look at these stories on TSM with an open mind, but like Catie said, this is just.. sad.
It’s so frustrating seeing advisors take UAX this seriously. At my university last spring, if a sorority woman was found near a fraternity recruitment event (which was in the middle of our Student Union complex), she could get in a lot of trouble…
@Mvonstein so sorry this happened to you! I’m sure you are a wonderful alumna of Theta Phi Alpha and I hope that this is solved without you having to disaffiliate from our sisterhood.
This post wasn’t necessary. I understand freedom of speech, however, this is taking things too far to where it makes readers feel like their beliefs aren’t respected. Come on TSM. Exercise some common sense when it comes to editing.
This type of thing is common in my chapter. I’ve been a Big for 2 semesters now. My first match was a random, and the girl wound up depledging (it was a difficult but necessary move, honestly), but this semester I was paired up with a 1-to-1 match. And it was perfect.. until a pledge sister of mine started calling her little. This PS is on academic probation for the second semester in a row, and while I know she isn’t stealing my thunder when it comes to my little’s life… I still feel like she is. She is a horrible influence on my little and has gotten her called to Standards already. I’ve been holding my tongue but I just don’t know how much longer this can last…

There was never a better time for the Bless your heart button..

Lilly originally was created to hide stains from orange juice, fun fact.
A true sorority woman doesn’t judge girls by what they do or do not wear.

No @fratwolfe it wasn’t her. Different chapter.
