Former standards chair/fraternity lavaliere/recent grad who can't decide whether she will miss the naps or cheap dive bar alcohol of her college town more. She is currently looking for a job where she can work 10 hours a week, make 40 hour pay, and still sleep in, but her options are looking bleak at this point. You can find her stalking her littles and harrassing her boyfriend to make her maragritas these days, but don't worry, she loves to share.
It’s like you took the words right out of my mind! I graduated in 2015, and recent grads will definitely feel that sting come August, it’s scary, but it will get better! Great job on this article!
I was a standards chair, and none of these thing would have even elicited a text from me. I would have liked Shannon’s picture because she looks happy in it. I hope that advisor is removed, or that the sisters who were removed or resigned can find happiness outside of their chapter with each other. Thanks for bringing this into the light TSM!
Couldn’t you rush as a sophomore? Just because you didn’t get through once doesn’t mean you should automatically give up. u know plenty of girls who didn’t get picked to any houses freshman year and found their home sophomore year. Don’t give up so easily.
This girl needs an award for best revenge idea stat. This is just great! Keep being awesome, girl! Hopefully you find someone as badass as you who will deserve a nice cooler!
You have nothing to be ashamed of! I got good grades in high school and even though I had to pay for the rest of my school with loans, my parents always made sure I had groceries in my house and that I had money for emergencies. Because my parents supported me to work hard, I don’t have nearly as much debt as some friends do. Having supportive parents is such a blessing! (Whether financial, emotional or both!)
You’re way off base here, Sunshine. Her parents did her a favor by doing that for her. I had a friend who’s parents gave her a college fund and she didn’t spend a dime on anything non school related. Surely this girl had to have known better, I mean if you can read a price tag you know where all the money is going.
Yeah let’s support someone who made that worker’s shift a living hell, made fun of America and is a brat, sorry that we’re all so crazy that we would have manners and love our country. Our bad.

Good for her! I’m glad she got a happy ending out of all this drama!
YES YES THANK YOU.

Love this!!
This speaks to me on a spiritual level.
This article is so on point, thank you for writing it!
Most accurate list I’ve ever read on here:)
I can see both sides of the issue, but I personally thought it was funny! I wasn’t offended by it, but I see why others are offended by it.

This article is everything I’m thinking in a list. You’re amazing Rachel!
