At my school Rho Chi’s had to disaffiliate for an entire semester. They had to delete all social media, couldn’t go to any events related to their sorority except formal chapter meetings, they couldn’t live in the house, and could not tell anyone who they were affiliated with.
It also sucks as an active. We had an open recruitment event every Thursday, we each had to go on 2 “recruitment dates” a week, and chapter was extended an extra hour for rec review. It really seemed that we spent way more time and energy on scoping out PNM’s than actually bonding and enjoying each other’s company as a sisterhood.
Thank you for writing this. Although ADHD presents many hurdles as a college student or a member of the workforce, It should be looked at as something as more than a disorder. People with ADHD, our minds work differently. We tend to go deeper into certain things and think in a more innovative manner.
I highly respect women who serve our country, however you are disregarding one major factor of wartime. If a woman is captured overseas her treatment as a prisoner of war is very different than a mans. Captured women are likely to be raped and sold into prostitution. The idea of forcing women to put themselves at risk of that seems demoralizing.

Ever since I saw this TED talk, It has helped me learn to embrace my ADHD instead of just cope with it. Worth the watch.

I’m that girl who was encouraged to apply to be a recruitment counselor because I’m so awkward when I comes to recruiting PNMs.

Love it, but her boobs remind me of Josh Peck’s chest when he first lost all that weight
