As a Christian who is not Catholic, this is very disrespectful to both Catholics as well as other denominations of Christianity. Honestly it’s disrespectful to anyone who is deeply committed to another religion as well. I don’t understand why would you be proud to write about this, as it isn’t even particularly funny.
This is 100% correct. For example: almost every chapter at my school won’t excuse anyone from recruitment for an internship unless they are getting college credit for it (Panhellenic policy idk?). So I know many, manyyyy girls who have been forced to turn down internships because they couldn’t work until the end date and couldn’t get college credit for it. Makes perfect sense from organizations who supposedly encourage academics and professional development right?
Honestly you’re lucky that things didn’t go any worse than they did. Doing stuff like that is exactly how people end up in really bad, unsafe situations.
Here’s the problem with stereotypes: you don’t get to decide what’s true and what isn’t. I know some sorority girls who can’t craft to save their lives and others who live off their parents’ credit cards. You can’t just say the good ones are true but not the bad. Obviously none of the stereotypes apply to everyone in a sorority, but if we’re honest, there’s some truth to all of them – good and bad – and I personally don’t have a problem with that. Any group has positives and negatives, but at least with Greek life, the positives almost always outweigh the negatives stereotypes.
Thanks for highlighting a video that actually deserves the attention! The quality is so good, and even though it’s still pretty basic, it really does stand out in a good way
People should work in career that they enjoy and are good at. Porn would probably be a good career option for her – or at least a better fit than writing.
Seriously this. She must be sucking all the TFM employees’ dicks to keep her job. The middle schoolers I tutor can honestly write better articles than this.
You would be too if people constantly made fun of you for caring about your dog/other pet that you love, if you have a pet at all. If any group of people is consistently being made fun of and judged, they’re gonna get defensive or retaliate. It’s really not rocket science sweetie
Finding pants that fit well is even worse if you’re both skinny and short. I’m not going to wear stupid looking children’s pants. American eagle jeans are bae, but business pants always cost like $20 more because I have to get them hemmed.
But any girl who would actually say half the things in this article to someone’s face is probably really jealous and insecure about her own body.
Pretty sure eating a healthy diet that consists of enough fruit everyday is the biggest thing -other than basic hygiene – that helps. (Kinda like how pineapple makes guys taste less disgusting)
Totally agree. It’s reasonable to state your opinion in the comments section of an extremely opinionated article. And to simply not like cats (or any animal) is one thing, but if someone is angry enough about a type of animal to write a long angry article about it, they may have a bigger issue that is normal/acceptable
I get that people who talk about their pets nonstop are annoying (one of my friends used to alwaysss talk about how her parrot was the best thing ever). But I also understand how it can be frustrating for cat people to always hear “dogs are smarter” “your cat doesn’t really love you” etc… I personally like cats and dogs but I’m allergic to dogs so I can only have a cat. The vast majority of cats are actually very loving and nice to their owners if no one else, but they can tell (like many animals) when someone is afraid of them or doesn’t like them and they will react. But ultimately if someone has a pet that they love, why does it matter to you personally what kind of animal the pet is? If you’re a dog person, get a dog and if you’re a cat person, get a cat. And don’t make a big deal about what kind of pets your friends have (unless you have a severe allergy or something). Last thing: whether you like cats or dogs, if you have the ability to provide a stable long term home for a pet, shelters all over the county are overfilled with both cats and dogs, and by adopting either one, you could be saving its life while gaining a new furry friend! 🙂
If you think this article is too rude – oh well. That’s your opinion and it’s fine. But regardless of the article itself, doesn’t anyone feel concerned that actual laws are being passed censoring free speech. People “being offended” because our generation has been raised to be overly sensitive is not a good reason to pass a law limiting one of our constitutional rights no mater how you look at it.
This one just seems so mediocre and unoriginal though. If y’all get one that’s amazingly creative and perfectly executed then by all means show it, but this one is just average.
Honestly the last thing Disney needs to do is create controversy with a movie primarily aimed at kids. And they do already have a wonderful empowerment theme so why change it?
Are their jeans still the same? I’ve been buying AE jeans for at least 5 years and I’ve always worn a size 2 (and my weight has stayed about the same). I don’t buy anything from there except for jeans so I wouldn’t know about their other clothes, but the jeans seem the same size as always to me
Ugh I wish tsm would stop featuring recruitment videos unless there’s one that’s truly out of the ordinary. There’s nothing more basic and worn out than a bunch of girls doing obviously staged clapping/hugging etc… And as someone who went to UGA my freshman year before transferring out of state, this video looks more like a campus tour of UGA than a recruitment video. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with this video, it’s just nothing special. I wish tsm would encourage creativity and being out of the ordinary over showing the same basic recruitment videos every year

I have never agreed with anything so much in my life lmao

This isn’t an article. And that pic makes him look like he has a tiny dick btw

Some chapters have VP standard and risk management all in one position. Idk how they can find someone willing to do that job
