Except for one thing, I recognize your username. You’re on this site a lot. So you should have the sense to realize that right now a little difficult for everyone. ESPECIALLY for certain people. Oh yea getting rid of 5 or so full time TSM writers is bad for the e-commerce money machine which is 99% Men’s apparel… Bad PR hurts them how? Will the Ad revenue pipeline cut them off because mass-exodus is a bad look? No. Or is the bad PR gonna make the TSM readership collectively boycott man outfitters? Hah. Either way, Grandex media only exists by pushing ecommerce and without selling anything to women, TSM is not profitable therefore it’s done.
I’ve had beatbox before and it’s disgusting. It’s also the reason why I got sent to the medical tent at a football game, so yeah my standards chair hates this shit.
Not to be a bitch but this only made me miss Cristina and The Rachel’s writing even more. P.S. BooshTFM, Danny Regs, and literally the entire TSM staff is kind of a sore subject with the readers you’re attempting to win over so I wouldn’t bring them up remind us of what we’ve lost right now.
Nah, it’s actually much simpler than that. Grandex generates virtually all of their revenue from their retail brands (Rowdy Gentleman, Lady, etc). TSM/TFM/PGP exist as loss leaders who produce content to drive the target demo for their retail lines into a centralized place where Grandex can promote the products. Now that the brands have been independently established and are making money, media content production has declined in importance so they laid off most of the media staff to cut costs. From now on Grandex is focusing on retail. They’ll still probably operate TFM/TSM/PGP but they’re going to farm out all the content submissions to cheap freelancers (the way Buzzfeed and Bleacher Report do). Don’t expect the same level of quality you’re used to.
