I feel like you went into recruitment at both schools with the attitude that you automatically deserved to be in a “top tier”, popular, well-liked sorority and wouldn’t have to work for it, solely based on your high school experience. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t find a fit at either school, but in all honesty people don’t just get dropped for no reason. It was most likely your attitude, whether you realized it or not. You might have missed out on a great sisterhood by not at least trying out a house you didn’t think you’d like- both times you went through.
She want insulting anyone, she was stating what she feels is a better alternative. This is TSM, not a back alley brawl. Your “put up or shut up” attitude aka just commenting to comment isn’t necessary.
Why is being rude necessary? For all you know she could have donated time/money herself which is why she’s offering a suggestion on what help will go the furthest. There’s no need for her to prove anything to you.
This sounds so….rehearsed. Robotic even. It sounded like she was reading off of a script and had everything memorized to a tee. If this really happened, why did she stay in her house for almost all of her college career? Why did she post all of the stuff on social media about loving her sisters and then go shit on them like it was nothing?
Not buying it.
It’s pretty standard actually. When things like this happen they stop everything to fully investigate, make sure if more than one house was involved they know about it and can deal accordingly, and all of the houses will most likely have to do a training session/review of some sort to ensure that they’re doing things the right way. It’s not like they’re forever suspended or in trouble, but since a girl was hospitalized it’s the right thing to do.
Its not a Friends reunion, unfortunately. It’s just a two-hour special with the cast (along with the cast of Will and Grace and possibly others) appearing as themselves, not their characters, speaking about the director. Huge letdown.
Nobody is choosing to take anything seriously. We’re just sick of this girl’s unnecessarily bitchy articles (what is this, like her second or third in the past two weeks slamming engagements?) and attitude about something that doesn’t affect her at all. Like is there some reason you’re so bitter about people getting engaged? It’s not a ring meant for her so why does she feel the need to make rude comments about it? Sure, not everyone is gonna like everyone else’s ring (and I’m sure there will be several people who think her ring is ugly AF too) but that’s the beautiful thing- the ring is perfect for who it’s meant for and nobody else.
I appreciate the sentiment of wanting your readers to be informed of a really important issue- one that affects all of us in some way or another. However, if you’re going to post an article like this, PLEASE actually have some correct, non-biased, all-encompassing sources. This article doesn’t even explain Congress’ vote to defund and what ramifications the vote would cause if not vetoed. All it does is give insight to other services that PP offers. This article is poorly written and poorly researched.
This is SPOT ON. I feel like people who buy Bath and Body Works mean well, but also have no idea what the girl they’re shopping for wants so they just assume it’s girly lotion and things and then we end up with like 15 bottles every year!
Screw having a “good look.” It DOES happen to black people, at a substantially higher rate than someone who is white. Your have a classic case of “because it doesn’t happen to me, it doesn’t happen a lot.” Are you just simply going to ignore the countless studies that show this? THAT, girlfriend, is ignorance. Open your eyes.
Are you joking? This isn’t “overly-PC” this is a movement over what is clear-cut racism at its finest. This has been going on at not only Mizzou but other campuses for YEARS and people are finally taking a stand. Get over yourself.

There a difference between being a “smart ass” and a raging douche, and your boyfriend is clearly the latter. That’s not cute or endearing at all.

Also I think it was right after Bid Day activities so it would make sense to do it that way

First rule of the study- only schools with over 5,000 students.
Stoooooop.

“And in spite of everything I still believe people are really good at heart.”
This lying bitch actually quoted Anne Frank when texting that guy? Ugh.
