The best way to deal with all of these problems is to sit down with her and address the issue in a mild mannered fashion. The goal is to make her feel really shitty and ashamed of herself. The nicer and more reasonable you are in your explanation, the worse she feels. This bullshit cat and mouse game of revenge is childish.
It doesn’t matter if she did it for publicity and it doesn’t matter if you don’t think she donated enough. She did it. Yes, percentage-wise her $1,989 donation was equivalent to me paying for Hot Piece’s guac. But when you breakdown the idea of donations, they’re all about helping others and feeling good about yourself for doing it. Whether you think she’s doing it for press or for personal good feels, it doesn’t matter. The point is that her grateful fans received shit they didn’t have before and it was a nice thing to do. I hate when non-contributing members of society tell rich people they don’t donate enough. Is Tswift supposed to feel bad some stranger with 30 years of student loan debt on her hands?
Considering it’s popular to label people “basic”, doesn’t that mean by the urban dictionary definition of basic, that the act of calling someone “basic” makes YOU the basic one?
You’re out of your mind if you give me an earful for NOT putting ranch on my pizza, ribs, or wings. People who put ranch on their pizza are stuck in a region with shitty pizza, aka the south. And ribs? Has anyone put ranch on ribs?
Don’t get too uptight. I’m just chuckling at her saying “Donate to shark conservation research!” rather than, “Donate to a good cause.” She specifically chose a cause that literally only a handful of people care about or even know exists and I found humor in that. Relax.
I personally would rather buy a $300 Lily dress and cut it into strips of toilet paper before I’d donate $300 to shark conservation research. At least I’d get use out of the dress. I agree with your point, you grow wiser as a person through new personal experiences like travel and you gain nothing through material items, but shark conservation research made me laugh.
I didn’t mean re-read your comment from a grammatical sense. I meant for you to think about what you just typed, wait until you’re 24-25 on a entry level salary, and reevaluate the importance of a $200 sundress that “separates” you from the crowd who can’t afford it. I’m guessing you have a Lily collection worth thousands and you spent your own hard earned money of every item…Please. Daddy’s wallet doesn’t make you unique so get over it.
Not strictly based on Greek Life. It’s everything. College town atmosphere, athletics, weather, IMs, quality of life, beautiful campus, happiest student body. Unless you’re a CU student, it’s hard to relate. It’s not small enough to run out of things to do or people to hang with, but it’s not big enough to lose the student-body “family” feel that Clemson prides themselves with. It is in the middle of nowhere however it’s not cut out of a cornfield either. There are hills, trees, a lake, and mountain views. There’s a difference between “Most Fun” and “Biggest Party School”.
This in an impossible game to play by the rules because you wouldn’t ever pull the wine glass away from your mouth nor would you even remember 10 of the rules off the top of your head. Just stick to the basics: “amazing”, “love”, and the catchphrase of the night: “In it for the right/wrong reasons” or “Can see myself/a future with him/chris”
But c’mon. “Has a southern accent” ?? So every time she speaks you have to finish your drink? ok….
Did anyone ask for your opinion on the original comment? I get it, you’re in a shitty situation, but you need to realize that literally the only thing you can do is move on and focus on things you can control.

What the hell is this shit?

It’s actually comical at this point. Surely you’re just a well seasoned troll. You’ve mentioned mesh in every single one of your comments.
I have a weird feeling this convo was an inside job.
“YOU” was rhetorical. I’m saying that calling someone “basic” is a basic thing to do at this point.
Considering it’s popular to label people “basic”, doesn’t that mean by the urban dictionary definition of basic, that the act of calling someone “basic” makes YOU the basic one?
Your last string of comments are completely psychotic. You need to pump the brakes a little bit. I pray that you have close friends to talk to.

If you re-read this comment of yours in 5 years, you’d be embarrassed of yourself.
Because stupid people click on stupid articles. And yes, the irony of my comment was not lost on me.

^GDI with a chip on her shoulder. We’re all pulling for you, Emily.

^Is offended by negative 1D and Bieber remarks.
