While yes Snapchat is not secure (And hacking it is very doable), the only reason you would announce that you hacked it, stole people’s photos, and then post ‘proof’ would be if you’re just attempting to draw attention to yourself. There’s likely a very, very attention deprived individual (Or individuals) behind this who is just trying to fuck with people, or trying to prove a point about how nothing is secure on Snapchat. If they go through with these threats, they’ll likely be found pretty damn quickly.
Plus in general, saying you have possession of photos from Snapchat is a really BAD idea when there may or may not be potential child pornography involved. Hello arrest charges for possession of child pornography.
