You make a great point, and I fully agree…perhaps my comment was misplaced in the first place, but let me clarify. What I meant was that if you’re in a stadium full of people with guns, you’re not going to pull out a gun and try to shoot one or many people, from the perspective of a potential shooter. I now realize this wasn’t as relevant as I thought, but a point I feel is important nonetheless.
I struggled with severe depression for nearly a year, and I remember getting really defensive one day, talking to my brother. It was getting better, but I wasn’t completely out of the woods. I told him I had been depressed, and he said, “about what?” I lost my shit. Partially because I was mad at myself and frustrated for not knowing why I was depressed, and partially because I was enraged that there were people in the world who thought that I was depressed “about” something. I learned more from that ongoing challenge than anything I have ever done.
Depression will pass, you got this sister.
Good for you. I wouldn’t, but that’s fine too. Now we have laws against hazing because some people weren’t willing to see that an organization doesn’t need to change its ways just because you, or anyone, doesn’t like it. Don’t want to be hazed? Walk away. Don’t demand a law be made just because you didn’t want to join an organization THAT bad. Not that you would have done that, just making a point.
Does this boy have a brother? Or a cousin? Second cousin?
@WRBolen sounds like a real gem.
There went another sliver of hope for humanity.

And you know what’s not allowed on stadium property? Weopons. Great for defense.
No doubt will be using number 12

Calm down, homegirl.
BZ, let’s be friends.
“Handful of granola,” add “Green Cargo Pants” and you’ve got it.
Summary: Don’t want to get hazed? Don’t join. Don’t try to change the organization, it’s not yours.

Signs you’re too dumb to be a parent…
Should’ve referenced “Drunk In Love” but Ke$ha works too.
