ShutUpAndRead is a mass communications major from a small school in South Carolina that you've probably never heard of. She enjoys reading, long walks on the beach, and judging the Twitterverse. When she's not busy watching videos of sloths or babies dancing to pop music, she can be found pretending to be a princess and working diligently on her MRS degree.
I feel like you missed the point. She even says that if his compliment had stopped at “you’re beautiful” it would have been fine. But it didn’t. By saying “you’re going to make a beautiful girlfriend” he made it sound like being a girlfriend is her job. Like it’s her sole purpose in life. The point she and I both tried to make is that it’s not. That she’s probably more intelligent than Trump himself and therefore will go on to be much more than some guy’s beautiful girlfriend.
Trolls will be trolls. And apparently trolls who don’t actually read our articles, because that comment contained so many inaccuracies it’s actually funny.
I definitely can promise you that it gets better! It took me a looooong time to realize that I didn’t do anything and that he was just a loser, but I got through it, and you will too! Sounds like you’re already doing better than I was, since you had the guts to break up with him over it!
Communicate, trust, don’t smother him, but don’t allow him to believe that he can walk all over you. Retain your independence, but understand that you’re also part of a team. Realize that every little thing doesn’t have to turn into a fight. Look at the future, but don’t forget to enjoy the now. Those are the best things that you can do to have a happy, successful relationship. But you also have to understand that even the best relationships can fail, and accept that life is making room for something even better in your life if it does.
You really don’t understand satire, huh? Maybe you should focus a little more on your English classes and a little less at yelling at people you don’t know on the internet.
But wait…if fraternity men are the assholes…why is the only good guy I’ve dated a fraternity man? Oh my God, is it because you can’t actually stereotype someone by their campus involvement?!

Not at all. I almost bought some of the Old Navy shoes before I realized I had nothing they would match with.
Take it from me, girl: I started dating a guy I had gone to high school with the December of my freshman year of college, but he just couldn’t handle the distance or the fact that I was in college and he wasn’t. After I finally broke up with him my sophomore year, I met the amazing guy that’s now my fiancĂ©. Reading your lines about wondering if there is someone better on campus made me think back to my choice to break up with him. For me, there was someone better on campus. I’m sure there is for you, too.
That’s funny, because I’ve actually never told my story to any group. Do you actually know who I am in real life? Because it doesn’t seem like you do.

Actually, we stayed together for another year.
If you don’t see blue and black, yes.
Thanks, bro.
I’d rank you third.
So by alpha males you mean spoiled misogynistic pigs that I wouldn’t waste my time on anyway?
1. Points for recognizing that I am, in fact, a princess. Thanks for that.
2. I bet you read the Conservative Tribune like it’s the Bible.
Maybe get your information from a better website than “returnofkings”
Not sure how I feel about T. Swift as Cinderella though.
It’s a REALLY good book. I read it all in one sitting.

Pretty sure I broke that 4 drink rule today, honestly. Oops.

Mmmmm, still a few more errors you need to clear up before I can understand exactly what it was you were trying to say.
