ShutUpAndRead is a mass communications major from a small school in South Carolina that you've probably never heard of. She enjoys reading, long walks on the beach, and judging the Twitterverse. When she's not busy watching videos of sloths or babies dancing to pop music, she can be found pretending to be a princess and working diligently on her MRS degree.
I’m sorry, I couldn’t read past the several serious grammatical errors you made in your first comment. Maybe you should go retry that whole education thing? I’m not sure it really worked that well for you the last time.
We stayed with her the other night and she had a 12 minute conversation with me about how she was gonna let me sleep in the same bed as him even though it’s wrong in God’s eyes.
Also, you can kind of tell I date a black guy, since that’s actually us in my picture. If you’d like to see copies of the emails the guy that harassed me sent, I’d be happy to send them to you. And I’m not really sure how you “make up” believing that your generation could end inequality. So, ya know…bye Felicia.
What about women who don’t have evidence? I was raped by someone that I didn’t know, and it took me a year and a half before I was able to report it. No arrest was ever made, but that doesn’t make my story any less true or traumatizing. The majority of rapes, especially by an acquaintance, go unreported or never result in a conviction.
Obviously you don’t want to run around doing it all the time, and you should certainly never wear anything pertaining to your sorority while doing it, but one night stands are something pretty much everyone does. Why should we be ashamed because we did a perfectly natural, normal thing? It’s okay to have sex. I don’t understand why we feel the need to act like it’s so terrible. We’re all consenting adults, why worry about what (or who) the girls on campus are doing? Get over it. Go find something productive to do with your life.
One of my close friends and sisters suffers from clinical depression, and a guy she was interested in once asked her why she couldn’t just be happy. Like she could control what was going on. It was awful.
Do you honestly not have anything better than this to do? You sit on your phone or at your computer all day just waiting for us to post things, just waiting for the chance to pretend that anyone cares what you have to say. It’s sad, honestly, because no one really cares. You posted on one article asking if we wanted to know who you were, and here’s the truth: we don’t care. No one on this site I interested in what you have to say. So step off, okay? Do us all a favor and take it to 4chan, where your “humor” might actually be appreciated.
Also, if your assholes have boyfriends, you and your wife might need to have a talk.

My boyfriend’s grandmother met me for the first time, asked when we were getting married, and then called me Melissa. My name isn’t Melissa.
You had me at “Tollhouse cookie dough” but only because snow angels are cold and I’m too clumsy for ice skating.
Should have titled it that, that’s freaking brilliant.
I was expecting all 5 to be #buttstuff2014
The irony was not lost on me, haha.
It’s a name that just screams “I’ll never have to work a day in my life.”
My mom had to go through having a military husband/3 daughters and it’s a rough life! Kudos to you for sticking through the hard times!
I think it’s more the fact that they supposedly did it IN the church that they’re upset by.

Guess this means you’ll be voting for Thom Tillis then?
Thanks, I try. *insert hair flip emoji here*
Yeah, and the fun thing is that they pay me to write it!
