Noooo! It’s like when you go to work. It isn’t that you don’t like that job particularly (pretend that you do), it’s just the whole “effort” part. I mean you’d rather be in bed watching Netflix than in class, right? We love bid day. It’s so much exhausting work, but it’s so worth it in the end.
This is on point. My ex cheated on me with 3 different girls, and I used to hate all 3 of them. This article just reminded me exactly of why I’ve let it go.
My ex cheated on me with 3 different girls in a span of 2 months. I know exactly how awful it feels. I’m sorry you (and everyone else commenting) has had to go through this, but we’re worth so much more. <3
I think guys also don’t have the proper sex education. Guys don’t always understand how the clitoris is how the majority of girls get off and that only a small portion of the population can orgasm from vaginal penetration alone. And I’ve been having sex for 3 years and only have been with one guy ever who even wanted to make me finish. No other guy has cared enough; once they were done, they were done. It’s sad and not fair.
I’m in one of the sororities that lost their sister at this school (I try to stay pretty anonymous on this website) and went to high school with one of the other girls, but it’s incredible to see the outpouring of love and support from people not only in the community but around the country. It’s something really, really special that sets Greek life apart from everything else. Thank you all. <3 I was only acquainted with both girls I knew, but they will be missed.
So terrible. I know it’s about “building character” but there’s a limit and a certain extent. I would NEVER want to be “brothers” with people that just before I became initiated were causing me physical harm.
I really needed to read this. I went through a breakup 2 months ago and it’s been absolutely devastating, and recently he decided for whatever reason to tell me he was banging 3 different girls on the side while we were together. It’s just hard walking past that person that was once your everything on campus, the one you cried with, laughed with, dreamed with and shared everything with, and neither of you even look at each other anymore. It’s like a person died, only worse, because you have to still see them and hear about them and know about them as much as you don’t want to.
Be careful, though. My ex is a frat boy and did a lot of the things on this list that you “aren’t supposed to ask about” and I find out after we break up he was banging 3 girls on the side. Maybe if I hadn’t trusted him and asked those questions I was told not to ask because “it’s a guy thing” then I would have been able to escape that relationship sooner and avoided the heartbreak I’m still going through.
Person of color and colored people is kind of redundant though. I meant it the same way. Then again, it’s proving my point anyway that every single thing you say is and will be taken offensively when it comes down to anyone not white.
Or, better yet, people need to stop seeing EVERYTHING as somehow being “racist” in Greek life community. If you want to start talking about racism, let’s talk about how there’s sororities and fraternities made JUST for colored people that if a white person tried to rush for, they would get laughed at and dropped immediately. But of course, that wouldn’t make national news and be an extremely controversial subject. I know people say that you can’t be racist against white people or whatever, but come on. People just want to find reasons to be mad.
ALAM!

Ugh, this is so spot on. I love it.
You’re a warrior.

“Guys don’t like skinny girls” good thing I don’t live for what guys want

I did all this and all he did was disappear…last time I heard about him he had ran off to Patagonia and changed his name. Weird.
She’s lost a few dozen marbles.
The shade thrown in the “we never have sex” “now you know why” though cracks me up.
How does Colorado have more bars than California…
this is my chapter and i couldn’t be more proud to call these amazing girls my sisters.

Well saying African American isn’t always correct and saying black can be taken offensively, so please tell me what else I should say.
